Nate is a very loving family pet and is a very non demanding and affectionate dog. He is our last Boo offspring and has her bulk and coat. He was named after the Dallas Cowboy football player, Nate Newton, because of his enormous size and strength at birth - weighing almost 2 pounds. The additional part of his registered name comes from his love of sitting in water and mud and rolling in dirt and just generally dirty. All dog yard water buckets have to be shielded from him or he would stand in them and dig in them all day.. He is a phenomenal nanny dog and plays with tiny puppies for hours allowing himself to be pulled, chewed and chased. He is not weighed because he's too heavy to pick up and the local vet doesn't have walk on scales.
